  You'd have to be a local to know about it, but it's still busy in spite of it's off-the-highway location. A tiny building dating back to the days when the Pike was the only way to the shore, Gilchrist churns out simple breakfast comfort food. The seasonal blueberry pancakes - made with fruit from just down the road - are the taste of a South Jersey summer.

  Usually is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. I went in with my step daughter I order breakfast she ordered chicken Cesar salad mid way threw eating her salad she found a hair in it. Clearly was not her hair . The waitress was not nice about it it was taken off the bill but there was no apologies she sent another waitress back with the bill. Very dissatisfied with her service. Will not go back there again.
